About Emu Park Lions

In the 2008/2009 financial year, Emu Park Lions donated  $33,624.71 to charity. Our programe for 2008/2009 included; Oktoberfest, Festival of the Wind,  Music in the Park, the Emu Park Community Christmas Party, the Youngies and Oldies footy match for Cancer and the Coast Guard’s Tight Lines Fishing Competition.   We cooked for the crowds at the RFDS Fawlty Golf day and catered for Classics on the Coast.  We sold Lions Christmas cakes which helped us donate $3,000 to the Sunset Ridge retirement home.  Our not-for-profit community days include Festival of the Wind  and a  ’Thank You” party for Oktoberfest volunteers.  We  took part in Lions Youth of the Year, Carols by Candlelight and helped the library staff with a Teddy bear’s picnic in Bell Park.
