During an average year there are many events on the coast that may appear on our calendar. Many are our own events, while there are also other groups in our area whose events we will included provided they give us details.
If you are viewing this page on a small device such as a smartphone, the calendar may be difficult to read. If you can rotate your device it might be better to read but looking at the events is usually better to use the top menu to navigate to Events –> Categories then selecting all or the category you wish to look at. If you wish to search for an event, select the top level Events menu and then search from the top of the list.
We have regular monthly events and several major events. The major events are Oktoberfest, Festival of The Wind and Carols By Candlelight.
EVERY FIRST TUESDAY – EMU PARK LIONS BUSINESS MEETING
All members are asked if possible to make every effort to attend the business meetings. It is a rule of Lions that family must come first so this is considered that you should always make this a priority. Please make sure you call and make an apology if you are unable to attend.
EVERY THIRD TUESDAY – EMU PARK LIONS SOCIAL OR CLUB DINNER MEETING
All members and their guests are encouraged to attend our monthly dinner meeting for fellowship and a lot of fun. Tonight, we bring several new members into our club. If anyone is interested in joining our club, simply approach one of our members at the markets, or use our contact form on this site.
EVERY THIRD SUNDAY -EMU PARK PICNIC MARKETS
Come down to the park for the best market in the land. All sorts of things to see and do. Good food and entertainment. Its all here waiting for you to drop in.
EMU PARK LIONS OKTOBERFEST
This is the main fund raising event for the club. Over three thousand people turn up for the event and a great time had by all. You can come along and enjoy a great day of music and sample some fine German food and beers. See our Oktoberfest web site for the next Oktoberfest date

TIME – Starts 11:00AM Bar opens 12:00AM to 10:00PM
FESTIVAL OF THE WIND
This is club’s main community service activity for the year. Over four thousand people enjoy a great free family day at the beach based on kite flying and beach games. Usually held either the Sunday before or the Sunday after Easter Sunday. See our Festival of the Wind site for the next Festival date

TIME – Starts 10:00AM and goes through to Fireworks at dusk
