2026 Emu Park Lions & Triple M’s Festival of the Wind
“A free fun day for the whole family.”
Festival of the Wind – Planning Begins!
It’s that time of year again—planning for the 2026 Festival of the Wind is officially underway. Mark the date: Sunday, 29 March 2026, with the festival running from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm.
This iconic Emu Park event draws well over 10,000 people, and with the Festival of the Wind markets running alongside, it’s always a vibrant, busy, and hugely rewarding day. Pulling it all together, however, depends on solid preparation and plenty of hands on deck.
Each year we’re backed by an amazing team of volunteers, and we’ll need that same energy again. If you can help—or know someone who might—please get in touch. Even an hour or two makes a meaningful difference.
More updates will be posted as planning continues.

Type 2 Diabetes Awareness: Uniting for a Healthier Future
Type 2 Diabetes is steadily on the rise in our society, and it’s more vital than ever to recognize who’s at risk and how to manage or delay its onset. Unfortunately, many individuals don’t realize they are at risk until it’s too late.
As part of our ongoing commitment to community health, the Lions Club is proud to announce a community walk and screening test. This event aims to raise awareness about Type2 diabetes to identify potential risks early on.
Join us on our nominated day, take charge of your health and become more informed about this pressing issue. Our screening tests may help you understand your risk factors and empower you to make proactive choices for a healthier lifestyle.
Stay connected for updates on future activities, workshops, and events throughout the year. Together, we can combat the rising prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes and create a healthier, happier community.
