“Superheroes Unite” Emu Park Community Fete
The community fete bringing together local “not-for-profit” groups will be held at Bell Park, Emu Park on Saturday, 9th August 2025 from 10am to 4pm.
This inaugural event will bring you local entertainment, lots of kids activities, and a multi-draw, offering a vibrant atmosphere to support local causes.
Bring the family for a day of fun. Add to the day and dress up as your favourite hero.
May activities
We had one of the biggest months ever, bringing our community the Festival of the Wind, the monthly markets, and supporting the massive Classic Cars event by catering .
The Festival was a huge day attended by an estimated 15-20,000 people from all over the area and even from other states and possibly countries. There was wind! Lots of wind that allowed the flights of fancy of some truly outstanding kites.
A huge thanks to the many individuals and groups from the community who contributed to the day by offering their services at no charge to help make the day the huge success that it was. Also, it would not be possible to run this event without the wonderful support of our partnering sponsors. And, thanks to the community who turned out for the day.
After a full day of activities and entertainment everyone wearily headed home for some well earned rest. See you next year when we do it all again.
You can make a difference in your community by joining Lions
Every year we raise up to $70,000 for local community groups and charities. Membership of Lions is open to all members of the community in good standing.

Type 2 Diabetes Awareness: Uniting for a Healthier Future
Type 2 Diabetes is steadily on the rise in our society, and it’s more vital than ever to recognize who’s at risk and how to manage or delay its onset. Unfortunately, many individuals don’t realize they are at risk until it’s too late.
As part of our ongoing commitment to community health, the Lions Club is proud to announce a community walk and screening test. This event aims to raise awareness about Type2 diabetes to identify potential risks early on.
Join us on our nominated day, take charge of your health and become more informed about this pressing issue. Our screening tests may help you understand your risk factors and empower you to make proactive choices for a healthier lifestyle.
Stay connected for updates on future activities, workshops, and events throughout the year. Together, we can combat the rising prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes and create a healthier, happier community.
